Where it began
Many years ago, in the lap of nature, our sacred journey began as a quiet quest under the name Siddha Mathrugurukulam.
It was a time before the machine noise of modern pharmacies: a sacred beginning, when medicines were ground by hand, following the words of a great teacher who knew the pulse of nature and recognised the divine qualities of medicinal plants.
The principle we follow
The foundation of Ayurveda is the balance of the three doshas: vata, pitta and kapha. The ultimate truth that disease takes form in the body when this balance is disturbed is the founding principle of every medicine we make.

From the Siddha Mathrugurukulam of those days to Sree Muruka Pharmaceuticals today, our aim has been to restore the body's complete health and the balance of the three doshas.
From palm leaves to today
We move forward by bringing together the traditional medical knowledge handed down through generations, and the precious herbal formulations our forebears inscribed on palm leaves, with scientific principles.
Times changed, and from the lamplight of the Gurukula we grew into a modern institution, Sree Muruka Pharmaceuticals. Yet even today we have never compromised on the sincerity our teacher passed on to us, or on the purity of our medicines.
